90-26230 (cn 70-1597) During the 920th Rescue Wing role demonstration at the 2011 edition of the Cocoa Beach airshow, this 308th Rescue Squadron HH-60 makes an attempt to show the public the various ways of extracting PJs from the water. Due to the high swells, rip currents and heave downdraft from the rotors, a wave breaks early, resulting in a wall of water engulfing the helicopter. The PJ never made it into the helicopter as the ‘rescue’ was called off.

In the background, IAF's first C130J KC-3802 from No.77 Squadron 'Veiled Vipers' has just arrived from Hindon AFB and is being towed off the apron to also be a part of the Static Display [Aero India 2011]

It was the last flying 'J’ model to be retired, making its last landing on the flight deck of the Intrepid on 29th October 1993. The bubble in the background is the new home of space shuttle Enterprise, opening to the public on 19th July 2012 (Canon 50D + Sigma 10-20 EX DG HSM)
