Ou é uma grande conspiração (que eu acho inverossímil) ou esse tipo de declaração indica justamente um motivo para passar desapercebido os planos: soberba e excesso de confiança. Acreditar demais na própria capacidade e subestimar o fato de que do outro lado também existem cabeças pensantes nunca é algo muito positivo.

Acreditar demais na própria capacidade e subestimar o fato de que do outro lado também existem cabeças pensantes nunca é algo muito positivo.

Alguns dizem que é muito cedo para atribuir a culpa apenas a uma falha de inteligência. Apontam para uma onda de violência de baixo nível na Cisjordânia que transferiu alguns recursos militares para lá e para o caos político que assola o país devido às medidas tomadas pelo governo de extrema-direita de Netanyahu para reformar o sistema judicial. O controverso plano ameaçou a coesão das IDF, vistas como o exército popular.

Supostamente, o governo de Bibi enviou quase todos os 26 batalhões ativos da IDF para a Cisjordânia para proteger o comportamento cada vez mais agressivo dos colonos lá. O Netanyahu depende fortemente do partido Shas(partido religioso ultraortodoxo israelense) que é o partido radical haredi(judeus ultraortodoxos), pró-colono e sionista religioso, com mais de 7-8% nas últimas eleições. Os haredi são um Estado dentro do Estado de Israel e, têm o efeito negativo de serem o grupo mais agressivo da sociedade israelita e, ao mesmo tempo, estarem isentos do serviço militar. Eles, portanto, causam enormes problemas para o Bibi. É por isso que eles drenam tanto politicamente(assim como militarmente) a IDF e o Likud(partido do Bibi). Isto explicaria por qual motivo, o perímetro de defesa na Faixa de Gaza era tão fácil de penetrar - com pouco efetivo e baixa prontidão, simplesmente não havia unidades suficientes para manter as rotinas necessárias.

Eu ainda não sei se realmente ocorreu alguma falha proposital da CI de Israel, entretanto, existem razões suficientes para explicar o motivo da baixa capacidade de resposta inicial de Israel dessa incursão do Hamas nos dois últimos dias, além de outros motivos que poderiam potencializar essa deficiência da IDF no dia 05-07.
