"If the people who marched actually voted, we wouldn’t have to march in the first place".
"(Poor) countries are poor because those who have power make choices that create poverty".

Documentário de 2003 dirigido por Sebastian Dehnhardt e Christian Deick. É composto de três episódios:
"The Attack": sobre as operações de verão e o ataque à cidade, até o ponto do cerco;
"The Kessel": sobre o cotidiano das tropas alemãs cercadas no "caldeirão" de Stalingrado;
"The Doom": narra os eventos finais da derrota do 6º Exército alemão.
Uma palhinha do primeiro episódio:
Sem dúvida, na minha opinião, é um dos melhores documentários sobre a WWII e, sobretudo, sobre essa batalha capital.

The buildup of forces in Afghanistan is complete, with the number of US troops there the highest yet. The surge is part of President Obama’s campaign to take the battle to the Taliban strongholds in the south and east, while accelerating training of Afghan security forces. In February, suicide attacks by militants increased, and villagers and Afghan officials accused NATO of killing a large number of civilians in airstrikes. The images in this month's post show Afghans and NATO-led soldiers working and living through moments of sheer terror and numbing poverty. Through the strife, we see glimpses of the enduring human spirit. --Leanne Burden Seidel
