Ja.Worsley escreveu:July 31st last year saw the final flag lowering of the Austrian Navy (Österreichische Kreigsmarine). The last patrol boat was then donated to the Military History Museum (Heeresgeschichtliche Museum).

This brings to end over 624 years of naval association between Austria and the sea, one which will never be established again. All duties that the Austiran navy had (mainly guarding more than 20 electrical plants along the Danube as well as guarding the Capital) have now passed to the Army.
