Não será, duvido muito que abandonem esse programa horrendo, mas espero que eu esteja errado.

O Cel. Jauro já nos falou que foi estudado seriamente o VBR Guarani com canhão 90 mm na época, quase fizeram um protótipo e declinaram, imagino pela experiência Belga com o canhão Mk8, pois foi bem na época. Bastavam aproveitar os estudos daquele tempo, pois é basicamente um VBTP Guarani com silhueta baixa, duvido que custasse mais do que R$ 9 milhões a viatura completa, que é o estimado pra o "New Gambiarra" ai - sendo que cada protótipo está custando quase R$ 37 milhões.

Um VBTP Guarani custa R$ 5.5 milhões e uma torre, talvez a TORC, deve ir pros seus R$ 4 milhões.

Um novo VBR Guarani, com silhueta um pouco mais alta do que a proposta antiga, para poder ser anfíbio com flutuadores, torre 30 mm + Msl AC e capacidade de transporte limitada para 4 tropas - operadores de drones FPVs/reconhecedores - já é uma solução um milhão de vezes superior a do EE-9M, aliás até melhor do que muitos VBRs por ai, bateria de frente com o Jaguar.

@pewdiepie, até acho a ideia da Remax com ATGM interessante, mas penso ser boa pro Guaicuru e pro Guarani, com um míssil 84 mm ou 120 mm, porém canhão 30 mm - ou acima - vem se mostrando crucial em operações de reconhecimento, especialmente na Ucrânia, onde acabam achando muito alvo de oportunidade e também é uma boa arma para eliminar drones. O BTR-82A está sendo muito utilizado nessa função, até deixaram de lado os BRDMs, mesmo os modernizados.

Apenas a Remax 4 está homologada para receber e operar misseis AC. A Remax 3 atualmente em uso só opera com metralhadoras.
O exército ainda não comprou a versão 4, pois ainda está sendo homologada.
Ademais, se pode usar mísseis AC, bem que poderia usar, também, misseis ar-ar tipo Manpad.

Eu ainda fico fazendo os cálculos pra entender como que dois protótipos custaram quase 3x mais que o desenvolvimento do Guarani e seu LED, proporcionalmente.
