Esqueci de falar que o UAE também foi o primeiro comprador internacional do Pantsir, aquela AAAe comunista e impossível de operar.

Também enviaram para o Iêmen, para combater a ameaça dos scuds.

India, Russia Sign Long-Term Support Pact On Sukhoi Su-30MKI
(Source: The Hindu; published March 17, 2017)
By Nayanima Basu
NEW DELHI --- India and Russia on Friday signed two long-terms support agreements for the Sukhoi Su-30MKI combat aircraft fleet, which is the mainstay of the Indian Air Force (IAF).

Both countries signed two agreements in the presence of Defence Minister Arun Jaitley and Russian Trade Minister Denis Manturov.

The agreements include an upgraded schedule for delivery of spares from Russia for these jets, local manufacturing of parts and a proposed logistics hub for the fighter jets in Bengaluru by Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. (HAL).

Su-30MKI was designed and developed by Russia's Irkut Corporation specifically for India. The licensed production of the aircraft takes place at HAL's facility in Nashik, Maharashtra.

Another agreement was also signed to provide lifecycle support and maintenance of major Russian equipment and platforms for Mi-17 helicopters, MiG-29K aircraft, INS Vikramaditya and T-90 tanks.

"To ensure smooth lifecycle of such equipment, the objective is to have long-term supply agreements between Russian OEMs and the Indian armed forces or platform manufacturers in case of licensed production such as HAL and the Ordinance Factories Board and to firm up modalities to manufacture some of the identified spare parts and components in India by Indian companies under 'Make in India' initiatives through technology transfer or through joint ventures between India and Russian companies," said a statement.

The agreements were signed between HAL and United Aircraft Corporation and United Engine Corporation.

Russia reveals Su-30SME export 'Flanker' details

Nikolai Novichkov, Kuala Lumpur - IHS Jane's Defence Weekly
31 March 2017

Russia has revealed new details of the Su-30SME export variant of the Sukhoi 'Flanker' fighter that it launched in early 2016.

Speaking at the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace (LIMA) exhibition in Malaysia, president of Irkut Corporation Oleg Demchenko revealed performance specifications for the twin-seat derivative of the Su-30SM that recently entered service with Russia and Kazakhstan (the Su-30SM is itself a development of the Su-30MKI sold to India).

The Su-30SME has a normal take-off weight of 26,090 kg, a maximum take-off weight of 34,000 kg, a speed of 1.75 Mach, and normal/maximum fuel weights of 5,270/9,300 kg respectively. It has operational range of 1,280 km at sea-level and at a speed of 800 km/h; of 3,000 km flying at a high altitude and at a speed of 900 km/h; and of 5,600 km with one air refuelling contact.

The Su-30SME is powered by two AL-31FP afterburner jet engines with thrust vectoring control. The powerplants have a combined thrust of 25,000 kg, and afford the fighter a combat payload of up to 8,000 kg mounted from its 12 hardpoints.

The avionics suite of the Su-30SME has been upgraded and the aircraft equipped for infrared and laser targeting pods for ground target acquisition and engagement. The new fire control radar can acquire and track 15 aerial targets simultaneously while being able to attack four at once. Other features include an integrated electro-optical targeting sensor coupled with a laser inertial navigation system, a helmet-mounted target designator, and satellite navigation system compatible with the GLONASS and NAVSTAR formats.

"The Su-30SME is an upgraded modern platform based on Russian equipment," Demchenko said. "As the basic Russian Su-30SM version develops, the capabilities of the export Su-30SME will also expand."

Never mind, já encontrei.

É o Yakovlev Yak-152, um equivalente do T-25 universal, mais moderninho:

Malaysia adapts Russian-built jets to drop US-made bombs

By: Mike Yeo, June 15, 2017

MELBOURNE, Australia — Malaysia has adapted its Russian-built Sukhoi Su-30 multi-role combat aircraft to drop U.S. laser-guided bombs, with a successful release of a live weapon at the end of last year.

A video by the Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia, or Royal Malaysian Air Force, to celebrate its 59th anniversary showed a brief clip of a Su-30MKM dropping a 500-pound GBU-12 laser-guided bomb, with the accompanying caption stating that the event happened in November 2016 at the service's weapons range at Kota Belud in the state of Sabah, Malaysia.

The segment of the Su-30 dropping the GBU-12 has since been deleted from the video.

It was unclear how the Air Force guided the weapon during the successful weapons release. Malaysia possesses the Thales Damocles surveillance and targeting pod for its Su-30MKMs, which it uses in conjunction with the Russian KAB-series of laser-guided bombs and Kh-29TE air-to-surface missile.

The country also acquired six Raytheon AN/ASQ-228 Advanced Targeting Forward-Looking Infrared pods in 2012 under a capability upgrade program for its eight Boeing F/A-18D Hornets.

Malaysia operates a fleet of 18 Su-30MKMs alongside its Hornets as the Air Force's primary combat aircraft. The service's Sukhois are fitted with a mixture of Russian and Western systems, while Malaysia’s Hornets have previously employed the GBU-12 successfully against armed militants from the southern Philippines who had taken over the town of Lahad Datu, Sabah, in 2013.

Puxa vida... é avião russo que não presta, só usa reloginhos em cirílico, não leva BR nem na tinta da lataria, não emprega nenhum super-hiper-mega moderníssimo equipamento ocidental, os parafusos rodam ao contrário, o manual de instrução não vem em português... :? :( [023] [026] [027]
